A renowned South African media personality and entertainer has been shot dead in the metropolis of Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a nation battling rampant crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the downtown area on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the forty-year-old presenter was confronted by a trio of assailants, with one opened fire on him before running away.
