The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of heroes who will separate from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the events of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the secret base, striking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as key figures in House Halovar could enable the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners tables.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which players will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
